Sub Inspector Raghu Ganesh Arrested and FIR Under Section 302 filed against 6 Police officers by CB.CID at Tamil Nadu,Saathankulam

The CB.CID arrested the Saathankulam Sub Inspector of Police Raghu Ganesh in connection with the twin custodial deaths of father son Jeyaraj and Bennicks. Sources have added that the section in the FIR has been altered to that of murder.

The Madras High Court is scheduled to hear this issue tomorrow ,July 2nd and the arrest of the key member(Raghu Ganesh a.k.a Komban) in the crime has been welcomed by social media users.

Merchants Jayaraj and Bennix were arrested on January 19 and booked under Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 353 (use of force to deter public servant from duty) 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), and 506(2) (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. They were allegedly brutally tortured while in custody and were later released and taken to a hospital where a doctor declared them fit despite eyewitnesses reporting that they beaten up and still bleeding. They later succumbed to their injuries one after the other.
