Supply Chain Analytics, Product and Research (SHARP) lead innovative projects for multiple countries (Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Middle East, South Africa, Turkey, Japan and India) to support end to end supply chain optimizations and bring the world’s most customer centric experience.
On Placement charter we aim to place inventory at the right place, in the right quantity at the right time. To reach this vision we build analytical products to audit and improve the systems responsible for inventory placement and also build statistical models (forecasting, classification and recommendation) and simulations frameworks to support a/b testing and drive improvements within supply chain.
Key job responsibilities
This is an analytical position that provides Supply Chain operations support. This position will work with multiple business teams to develop and maintain ad hoc/regular business reports and to work on relevant analytical supports.
We're looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, hands-on BA. He/she would work closely with internal and external stakeholders on:
1) BI products development and maintenance.
2) Customer interaction and feature mapping.
3) Ad-hoc analysis to investigate system decisions and metrics impact.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1) Excellent skills on SQL, Tableau, Excel, Quicksight or other data visualization products
2) Analytical and problem solving skills and good logical thinking
3) Basic understanding on at least one scripting language, e.g. Python
4) Excellent English written skills
5) Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Information management system, Engineering, Statistics)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1) Good experience on Python, R or Linux/Unix on large data sets processing and statistics modeling/ML
2) Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift and Apache Spark
3) Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
