About BIU - Data Science:

This is a high-profile team with a mandate to drive data-based decisions within the bank. This department works with all businesses of the bank including retail, small business and corporate to drive analytics. In terms of functions, the department is responsible for:

Building Risk & Non-Risk scorecards for retail segment and ensure flawless execution of complete model lifecycle
Utilizing Alternate data across key retail businesses to empower analytics team for comprehensive decision-making process
Expand campaigns via “state-of-art” Personalization framework to amplify customer engagement & drive large financial benefits.
Developing capabilities in areas of NLP, Computer vision & Speech Analytics via deep learning algorithms as part of R & D hub of BIU
Building and maintain LTV / NPV models for the various banking products across retail assets, liabilities, cards and payments etc.

About the Role:

The intern will get a unique opportunity to work on real-life data science use cases and create logical and scalable analytical solutions using big data, statistics and analytics. In addition, the intern will get an exposure on multi-faceted aspects of banking products & services.


Looking for:-

Graduate or Fourth year pass out candidates (with Engineering/Economics/Statistics Background) available to work full-time for minimum 2 months
With certification or prior experience to tools like PySpark/Python/SQL/SAS will be preferred


Key Responsibilities and requirements:

Deliver time constraint innovative data science projects and generate insights.
Work on large data sets with different technical tools to help analyze the data in logical manner
Create dashboards and reports as needed by the business teams to drive insights
Develop statistical models to strengthen Bank’s initiatives.
Ensure regular connects with mentor. Present & discuss findings on the given topic.
