MediaMonks India is in search for a talented and motivated IT Support and Desktop Engineer Intern with expertise in network support to join our team. In this role, you will assist in providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems, software applications, and network infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with various technologies, assisting end-users, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT operations. This internship will provide valuable insight and practical skills in IT support and network administration.


Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Assist in managing and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and assist in resolving network-related issues.
Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement solutions to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
Assist in the administration of user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Support software installations, upgrades, and patches.
Provide guidance and support to end-users on the effective use of software applications and IT resources.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles.


Requirements:

Currently pursuing or a recent pass out with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software applications.
Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP), and network troubleshooting tools.
Basic understanding of network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes.
Previous experience in a technical support role or internship is a plus.
Relevant certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA) are desirable but not required.
