This course continues from CS50x, concentrating on the development of 2D and 3D interactive games. Students investigate the creation of classic games like Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, and Portal in order to gain a better understanding of how video games are implemented. Lectures and hands-on exercises are used to educate students.Using frameworks like Unity and LVE 2D, as well as languages like Lua and C#, the course discusses concepts of 2D and 3D graphics, animation, sound, and collision detection. Students will have programmed some of their own games and will have a clear understanding of the fundamentals of game design and development by the end of the semester.
