Expertise in solving complex business problems using data engineering and visualization technologies. Has worked E2E in multiple data engineering and analytics projects and has willingness to learn new technologies.


Responsibilities:

Optimal extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL/SSIS and Big Data technologies for projects.

Design and develop visualization solutions (dashboards) using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview etc.

Create data models using SSAS

Query/database optimization

Develop and maintain data pipelines optimized for machine learning applications

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

Design and design high-performance architecture

Manage relationships with stakeholders/clients to understand their requirements, explain the solution developed by analytics team etc.

High level of client satisfaction during delivery

Support in creating executive presentations, develop architecture documents, technical documents etc.

Exploratory Data Analysis to maintain data quality

Experience of developing and deploying solutions in cloud environment

Provide best practice advice to stakeholders/customers and team members



Knowledge and Skills:

Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)

Experience in working with variety of databases.

Experience in visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI etc.

E2E experience in data engineering and analytics projects

Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams

Proficiency in SSIS and SSAS is preferred

Understanding of Apache Airflow preferred

Familiarity with Spark preferred

Familiarity of data storage technologies like Blob storage, ADLS etc.

Familiarity with Python preferred
